Cats, musical in the desert 2006
I was lucky to have this opportunity to see Cats performed at the Tuacahn amphitheatre in St. George, Utah this summer, on the way to Europe. I missed this musical when I was living in London. But this is even better, the backdrop of this open air theatre was the mountain itself. The hit song 'Memory' is a nostalgic piece. The cast was great, fun and friendly. I told the white cat I came all the way from Hawaii to hear her sing and she said with her scottish accent, 'I came all the way from Scottland to sing for you'. I thought hat was sweet.
The metaphor of this production, to be redeemed from past mistake, receive forgiveness and hope for the better future. Do we agree here?
Viewers, please ignore the word Costa, it was not intended to be here and has nothing to do with this post. I just can't delete it. Meeeow!

too bad, i missed this musical show when Cats in KL. I dint know is it the same group?
really envy you. :>
No,I don't think so. 'Cats' runs in many places and there are many groups. The cast from this show was assembled from New York to Los Angeles and the mountain area. Two thousand people showed up for audition for this one. Only the girl who sang 'Memory' came from scotland. Well, you travel quite a lot, let's hope one of these days you might run into one:-) Especially in London and New York I guess.
I saw Cats during my college days back in Calgary. Being a poor student, I got one of those cheap seats, so far back and so high up in the theatre. But it was a great show nonetheless.
As long as you enjoy the show, right:-) Thanks for stopping by. Aloha Pumehana.
